a single i released for my first album

released on february 23rd, i made this song in like an hour (which is pretty short for me)

with this song, i wanted to capture the idea of people living to work—spending their whole lives contributing to someone else's dreams and ideas, which feels so backward to me. to me, the point of life is pursuing what makes you happy, and that whole concept just doesn’t align with that at all. its sad to think about all the people in this world who grew up with dreams just for them to get put on a shelf to live a life they never really wanted to live.
